Today I begin the last year of my twenties – which is a far cry from the little girl up there, blowing out those 6 candles.

Back then my family was stationed in the Philippines, my Mom coordinated parties for me, and Baskin-Robbins had that classic pink and brown, polka-dotted packaging (see it in the picture?). So much has changed since then: my family is now stateside, Mr. G plans my festivities, and Baskin-Robbins has changed their branding – twice!

I’ve seen some cool birthday-related ideas from other bloggers that I’d like to try, like these 30 Things Before 30 lists and this Random Acts of Kindness concept that I found via the Operation Nice blog. I’ll have to think on this, but I hope to have a list published real soon!
