I was beyond thrilled when my cousin-in-law, Michelle, told me that she’s taking on more baking projects and she was in need of a logo and some business cards for Sweet Solutions. These are my favorite kinds of projects because they combine my two loves – design and food! The design process was a piece of (…wait for it….) CAKE and I’m so happy with the results.

Kristi is one of my oldest friends. We have a wonderfully unique history that maybe I’ll share one day. In the meantime, check out these flirty cards I made for her Mary Kay venture. For these double-sided cards, I customized a stock illustration to match Kristi’s appearance at the time and added my own pretty polka dot pattern. I love how they turned out.

My lovely cousin-in-law is getting married this year, and I have the honor of helping with the wedding invites (and other printed pretties closer to the October date)! Sam wanted something that was simple, yet elegant and had a fall theme. This was my very first wedding invitation suite creation complete with a full-color invite on a chocolate card backing, an RSVP postcard, and a double-sided Reception card. I think everyone is pretty happy with how it turned out.

These business cards are a redesign for Fusion Media, a sister company of Meg Baisden Photography. This design offers a fresh approach to how the information is presented. Since Charles is so well-connected within the social media arena, I wanted to make sure that when someone receives his business cards, they’re able to contact him conventionally (by phone) or otherwise (the interweb)!

This is my family’s new restaurant in Pensacola, Florida. I began designing the logo three years ago and the rest of the collateral (job forms, menus, business cards, etc., etc.) in the last 6 months. It’s been a whirlwind! Here are snapshots of various Five Sisters Blues Café collateral: (l-r) top part of the cooler behind the bar, lunch & dinner menu, front door signage, inside menu, logo screen-printed on tumblers, and Sunday brunch menu.

I had the amazing opportunity to help launch a brand-new product for the Amazon Herb Co.  I was involved in product development, logo creation, and implementation throughout various marketing mediums.

Beautiful letterpress business cards for the lovely and über-talented, Meg Baisden Photography studio in Pensacola, Florida. I *adore* these cards! I created several concepts for Meg and this cute and quirky, vintage-inspired design won her approval! We then found an amazing letterpress printer out in Utah that printed my design onto doubly-thick premium paper stock and added the pop of blue to the edges. The design coupled with this printing technique proved to be a winning combination – a 2010 Silver Addy award to be exact! Bazinga!

This postcard was a part of a self-promotional campaign. Of course I created the design, but I also wrote the copy as well. I’m quite proud of the way they turned out!

After a job interview or a meeting with a new client, I would leave behind a small gift for them to remember me by. Here’s what I came up with to tie into the Ripe Campaign…

Super cute, right?! I got most of the materials at Target. They were easy to assemble and well-received.

This is the Save the Date design that won over this one. I must say, I like them both.

I designed this zen-like card for my dear friend, Elizabeth. Love the colors, love the fonts! The design is pretty spot on, too!
