This really happened. Yes… it happened way back in January, but that’s beside the point. Not only was it amazing to be on a cruise ship with my favorite band ever (as well as 16 other awesome groups: Ozma! Free Energy! Yuck! Sleeper Agent!), it was a most excellent way to spend a weekend in the dead of winter. Good-bye winter blues, hellllooooo Blue Album!

Have I mentioned that my favorite band is Weezer? I think I might have… As part of the birthday week festivities, Mr. G got us tickets to see the greatest band EVER at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods!

Weezer has been my *favorite* band since I was 13. I have and love all of their albums and I’ve been able to see them in concert  multiple times. Sadly they came to Florida TWICE this year and I missed them both times. I’m hoping to see them play at the The Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn on July 16th. What a wonderful birthday gift that would be for me – hint hint, Mr. G!
